I just tried again what the user described to me and it does not work in his projekt, but does work in a new project. So I guess this is something special for the project and not a general problem. I'll look into this further, but I think the bug itself can be closed.

Hi,

I cannot reproduce this bug. My scenario: I create a project with mediawiki plugin. I create a new role. I set the permission: mediawiki read access to: "read access". I save. And I get the correct setting in roleedit.php.

Can you describe your scenario?
